Now, in an election year, Cox flip-flops, claiming that "...diversity programs at colleges are 'divisive,' not unifying". Cox disingenuously claims opposition to DEI while the DEI Director at the taxpayer-funded U of U is still employed, raking in nearly $400,000.00 per year of your tax money.
As your Governor, Sylvia will remove all DEI programs from state, taxpayer-funded institutions. Utah will provide genuine opportunity based on merit, instead of the color of their skin or sexual orientation.
